Founded in 2002 by former English Teaching Assistant Michael J. Kim, the Fulbright-Korea Alumni Fund is now in its sixth year of operation. Its objective is to direct money to projects that can help improve situations in the ETAs’ schools or communities. Even the smallest gift can make an impact on students’ lives and strengthen relationships in the community. Past projects for the Fulbright-Korea Alumni Fund included funding winter English camps, starting English newspapers at school, donating money and supplies for various orphanages and refugee programs, and more.
